Eating, Sleeping, Toileting: You Can't Make 'Em Do It

These are three of the most challenging early milestones, and are often difficult for parents. This class will help parents (and other caregivers)of young children understand these issues, developmentally and emotionally, as well as explore tools that will help avoid the power struggles that often result.

This 2-day parenting series, based on the book 'Positive Discipline' by Jane Nelsen, EdD, introduces parents to a model for raising children that helps them feel a sense of connection, that is respectful and encouraging, and that teaches valuable social and life skills. Positive Discipline is evidence-based and reflects the theories of Alfred Adler and Rudolf Dreikurs.
